Response to Hotel Rwanda

It was my second time watching Hotel Rwanda. I watched Hotel Rwanda when I was in 8th grade in middle school. However, I had the different feeling back then. I didn't really care what happened because it didn't happen to me and I just felt that it was too bad for them. But this time, I had more serious thoughts on this movie and this whole genocide. First of all, it made me feel scary because it occured in 1994 which is very recent. This can be happened any time and maybe it is happening right now somewhere in the world. So the question is how should the world prevent this when ohter western countries show indifference to Africans? The way how UN (United Nations) worked on this Rwanda Genocide made me feel angry.
