Obviously, there are many serious current situations in the world relate to this novel, Animal Farm. The major current situaton that relate to this novel is the problem what North Korea is facing today. President Kim Jung Il of North Korea is one of the people who use power for bad thing such as nuclear weapon, and e.t.c. Because North Korea has a dictatorship, it is a very serious problem. Other countries like South Korea, they send rices and things North Korea need to poor people every single year. However, the poor people do not get those items but the government get those items. People from North Korea often escape to the South Korea or China because they are afraid of Kim Jung Il. For example, the government in North Korea force people to get in the army and they do not provide food and other important things. And this is exactly what happened in this Animal Farm. There are no freedom in the North Korea and the society where Napoleon lives. President Kim Jung Il and Napoleon, both of them use their people or animal for their own benefit and they are bad dictators.
I do not think this book shed any light on how current situations could be resolved or fixed, but I think this novel makes us to be aware of situations like abusing the power.
