What does Animal Farm relates to?
When I first read this novel, Animal Farm, I was actually surprised because every single characters were based on real person in Soviet Union. I knew little thing about Soviety Union because we have learned the revolution in the geography class few months ago and it was interesting to me. However, In Animal Farm, Napoleon he represents the Joseph Stalin in the real world because they have a lot of similar traits. Both of them were cruel dictators after the revolution and they used the military power to seize authority and they forced people to work for their own benefits. Napoleon and Joseph Stalin was a just violent dictators. Also, Squealer represents Vyacheslav Molotov because they both worked for the violent leader and Squealer changed the seven commandmends whenever Napoleon violated the seven commandments. The most poor character, Snowball represents Leon Trotsky. Both of them were eager to work hard for their own society but they failed by Napoleon and Stalin. Finally, the owner of the Manor Farm , Mr. Jones represents the emperor of Russia, Nicolas , because they both abuses the power and later on they got kick out of their society. I think the author George orwell really did great job on metaphoring and representing those people into the animals, because they all have similar characteristics.
